# Report a bug or crash in the DGMV-ID mobile application

### How to Report a bug or crash in the DGMV-ID mobile application

The DGMV-ID application is equipped with “Shakebugs” a bug and crash reporting tool for mobile apps. If you encounter a bug or a crash, simply shake your device or make a screenshot.\
This will activate the shakebugs tool. You can add some details about the bug or crash, and the system will send it to our helpdesk along with the screenshot, as soon as you click the submit button.

You can of course always use the Support link that can be found under “Settings” in the main menu. The support link will activate a webform that can be used to send a ticket to the helpdesk. The webform will include version information of the app and device OS.
