What is DGMV-ID?
DGMV-ID grants consumers and businesses passwordless, username-free entry to Web3 and Web2 platforms by providing multi-factor authentication (MFA) with QR codes and biometrics – all in a single, seamless app.
This challenge-response technology is based on the DigiByte blockchain, and uses key exchanges and digitally signed messages to protect both users and service providers from account takeovers.
DGMV-ID is a super safe solution for existing login systems that need usernames, passwords, and two-factor authentication (2FA).
It uses blockchain technology to create unique, complicated passwords right when they’re needed – so there's no need for any sensitive credentials to be stored in-app or on-server.
The DMGV-ID desktop browser extension then transmits the password using ultra-secure one-time pad (OTP) encryption technology.
What next?
In future, DGMV-ID will provide a non-custodial, interoperable wallet with support for multiple blockchains.
As well as digital assets such as tokens, cryptocurrencies and NFTs, the wallet will store verified credentials – think diplomas, certificates, passports, driver licenses and other details. You'll also be able to share assets you own and control using zero-knowledge technology.
DGMV-ID for business
DGMV-ID is ideal for business use. It allows you to grant employees access to the password generator, ensuring secure entry to work applications and services. Additionally, you can efficiently manage all admin and user devices through the built-in Enterprise Dashboard.
Our identity server enables secure DGMV-ID authentication integration with Okta, AzureID, or other applications supporting OpenID Connect. This integration includes options for geofencing and certificates.
