Learn how our governance system is structured

The DGMV community governance structure consists of xDGMV token holders eligible for participation in governance, as well as the technical, compliance and executive committees.

Committee structure and functions

Structure

Each committee consists of three members. One will be appointed by DigiCorp Labs to represent our company, and the other two will be elected for a one-year tenure by the community through a majority vote.

Compensation

Committee members will be paid incentives in tokens on a monthly basis (exact amount TBC).

Functions

Within a grace period, committees will be required to review the proposals that pass the community vote to ensure executing the proposal does not violate any technical or regulatory rules. If they do, the committees have the power to veto proposals that have been passed by community voting.

We will create a detailed committee charter to outline all responsibilities and membership parameters.

If a committee member leaves or violates the charter's terms, a proposal for the replacement of the committee member will be raised, triggering the election of the new committee member.
